This program aims to equip young people with
digital and technical skills so they can find work
locally and build their future. Participants learn
basic computer skills (computer use, file
management, safe internet browsing) as well as
common tools such as Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint essential for administrative
procedures, document production, and work
organization.
To better respond to local needs, the program
was strengthened and updated: training
equipment was renewed (most notably through
the donation of 20 computers by a Jesuit priest)
and new modules were introduced, including
micro-soldering, the use of diagnostic software,
and structured hardware training to enable the
identification and repair of electronic
components.
Delivered at the Dogre complex in the Sinjar
district, this course provides a concrete pathway
to employment in contexts where demand for IT
support and device repair is high both in the
camps and in returnee villages.
